Welcome to Veto! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Veto application (the "App"), operated by Big Business Bears ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
If you disagree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the App.
1. Service Description
Veto is an un-habit tracker and lifestyle app designed to help you avoid snacking, track fasting periods, and build healthy resistance through gamified features ("Active Defense"). It serves as an informative and gamified tool and does not provide medical advice. You should always consult with a healthcare professional before altering your eating habits significantly.
2. Acceptable Use and Apple ID Integrations
By creating an account and registering via Apple ID, you agree to provide truthful and accurate information. You are solely responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree not to use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
Furthermore, any deliberate manipulation of your local date/time settings or reverse engineering to gain unauthorized XP or ranks ("cheating") may result in immediate termination of your access to certain elements of the App.
3. Intellectual Property
All content included in the App, including but not limited to design, graphics, text, logos, audio, data compilations, and software logic, is the property of Big Business Bears and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our express written permission.
4. Disclaimer of Warranties
You expressly understand and agree that your use of the Veto App is at your sole risk. The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the App will be free of bugs, interruptions, or errors.
Furthermore, the App is strictly not intended for medical use. The fasting guidance and health-related content are purely motivational. We are not liable for any health risks or complications resulting from your use of the App.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will Big Business Bears be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your access to or use of, or inability to access or use, the App.
6. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will indicate at the top of this page the date these terms were last revised. Your continued use of the App following the posting of any changes to the Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
